This blog is still under construction. We do not wish to publish it to search engines yet until we post a significant amount of information. Those who have just visited this blog by clicking links from other "architectural series" blogs or just surfed from Blogger itself, we apologize greatly and request for patience. We hope in due time all the blogs of architectural series will be helpful to all, especially for the architects.

Until then, please visit "architectural monographs" and "film and architecture" a subsection of "Architectural videos" which are relatively rich in content.

The first issue of the monthly magazine Domus came out on
15 January 1928 with the sub-heading: “Architecture and interior design of the modern house for the city and the country”.

Founded and edited by the Milanese architect Gio Ponti, the magazine was brought out the following year by publisher
Gianni Mazzocchi, who launched Editoriale Domus.

Over the course of its over seventy year history, the
sub-headings of the magazine have changed slightly to reflect the demands and interest of the times but the aim of Domus
has always remained that of creating a privileged insight into identifying the style of a particular age.
